Torque-A-Matic began in Spokane, Washington in 1968. The focus in the beginning remains the same today, to provide the highest quality rebuilt and remanufactured industrial transmissions and commercial diesel engines with the end user always in mind. It is really quite simple. Exceed the requirements in a rebuild in a timely manner,  go beyond the customers expectations and stand behind your work. That has always been the Torque-A-Matic way. Torque-A-Matic is an employee owned corporation. What does that mean for you, our customer? Everyone here has a vested interest in performing to their full potential. From the parts department to the office staff to the highly trained and experienced technicians, everyone works as a team with both personal success and company success in mind. If each person does not do his or her best to meet the customers needs, we fail. Each person is, in essence, their own boss.
